I did further research and found a few wealthy fanatical dx enthusiasts who bought radio station antenna towers on which they mounted phased array antennas, and were able to get lower-channel digital stations [didn't show what quality of dtv reception other than still image screencaps] about 800 miles direct without skip, don't know if it was temperature inversions that were helping them or not. a lot of the screencaps showed evidence of severe drop-outs so I am guessing at that distance that reception will only be intermittent.

Fanatical is right. More dollars than sense if you ask me.

I do miss the "good old days" when solar activity would make channels from other parts of North America appeare on my analogue CRT TV screen on VHF channels 2-6. The only drawback was that sometimes the skipping signals would be so intense they would make local Denver channels 2 and 4 unwatchable, denying OTA viewers with outdoor aerials like myself access to CW (2) and CBS (4) programming due to co-channel interference.

Both of those stations now use UHF frequencies for DTV but are still mapping at their heritage channels 2 and 4.

Around here and from online it's not acceptable for guys to wear cat shirts. I have a few I use for pajamas. A fox shirt and a soft kitty song shirt from Big Bang theory. Along with my mlp shirts. Needless to say if ever I did somehow get a gf she'd probably be creeped out :( I'll have to hid it all.

IMHO a mate isn't worth a damn unless she accepts you as-is- no conditions/reservations.

And if no women accept me as is? Are not relationships built on the guy compromising?
I have so many red flags/turn offs.
Lots of people say that guys who own childish things like mlp are pedofiles or atleast creepy. It's why there's so much hatred towards bronies

I'm a bit childish just like my granpa I'll never fully outgrow my inner child. Everyone loved my grsndpa, but the 60-80s were different times. He would open and play with all our toys under the geise of testing them lol

So are most pets besides fish.

Fish bite too. Used to have an Oscar and it bit me whenever I dipped my finger into the aquarium.

Unfortunately, she passed away when I was changing the aquarium. Left her too long in water without a working filter.:(

you might find it mushy but it comforts me at least-

The Rainbow Bridge
inspired by a Norse legend

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.
