Problem with WP mailing list

Hello-

I'm having a bit of a problem unsubscribing from the Wrong Planet mailing list (latest mailing promotes the "Autism Job Club"). Every time I receive one of these mailings, I unsubscribe and receive confirmation of the unsubscription; every time I continue to receive them. (Actually, since I never "subscribed", I shouldn't have to unsubscribe, but it sounds nicer than saying that I am being spammed by WP.)

Look, I get it; people like me--people with Kanner's--aren't welcome here. That doesn't mean it is OK to harass us.

How do I get off the mailing list?

Can a mod. pls confirm whether these email are ACTUALLY from Alex?

If they are then i don't mind.

If they are not i would like to know.

copies of those messages were sent to you back in January 2010; no response was ever received.

How do I get off the mailing list? I've clicked the unsubscribe link and received confirmation to the last 8 emails, but the mails continue. How do I get off the mailing list?

Are you 100% you clicked unsubscribe? If so, I will have to investigate why it's doing that.

Yes, I am "100% I clicked unsubscribe", at least on the following dates: 12/14/12, 1/2/13, 2/27/13, 3/31/13, 7/10/13, 10/31/13, 12/8/14, and 5/11/15. On 12/8/14, I also sent a reply to the email, asking that I be removed; no reply was received. There are more saved messages (and unsubscribing) on the other computer, but I do not have them saved on this computer.

As for the individuals who emailed me, I've not "attacked" anyone or anything. I'm merely trying to get unsubscribed from a mailing list I was added to without my knowledge or consent.

I'm sorry this happened. I will make sure you stay off the list.

I just received another one. Same email address. I once again unsubscribed, and received confirmation telling me I have "been successfully unsubscribed from this list!"

Note that no one responded to my question.

It has been TWO years.......and still..........crickets*

Alex, after five years of continuing to receive your emails, despite repeated attempts to get off your mailing list and your explicit statement quoted above that I would "stay off the list", I continue to receive the mailings.

Again I ask, how do I get off the mailing list?
