I don't need tutorials now, as I learnt from a book.

I did read it :) and I even saw your website too. The colour you used in the website is really good and I like the layout also.

I like art a lot RedMage and I admire that you are really interested in finding out how to do it because a lot of people are too scared to even try it.

When you are older and famous, I will remember the RedMage name for sure!

RedMage the secret to creating in 2-D form is to not see the object but the form. For example if drawing a figure find the triangles or x's that form the composition. The second thing I do is depict the tone of whatever I am drawing. The third thing I do is...this is going to sound weird...I feel the surface of the figure or object with my mind. I feel what kind of texture it has...rough, smooth, grainy, oily, etc. Then I implement this with my drawing instrument whether it be pencil, crayon, pastel, brush, pen, litho crayon, carving implement(for printmaking or ceramics). In over 30 years this technique has never failed me. Good Luck in your endevors. Let your mind guide you.

I used a default Freewebs one as I don't know HTML.

I would love to show my artwork to you...alas when it comes to creative endeavors I am ultimately hands on. :( Streching canvas preparing rigid supports, painting, drawing, sewing, diy, assembling comes easily naturally. When it comes to the computer I can use it for general work application, but...due to the icons, color, flashing things, as an artist my eye is constantly in flux and it is hard to learn new applications. Due to my shyness it is hard to learn in a group situation. Hopefully soon this will change...I am trying to train to become an archietect. If you would tell me how to post my work I would give it a try.  :(

Hi, I just created a new thread, to don't kidnap this one :P

http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php? ... ic&t=31838
this is the link, if you have any questions just ask.

By the way, if you want to disable GIF animations, press ESC.

To disable flash animations, install Firefox and this extension:
http://flashblock.mozdev.org/

To completely disable GIFs animations, check this:
http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/0 ... -gifs.html

That way you can have a completely non-animated browser ;)

if you have any questions just ask.
