What would you do if you knew that you were dangerous. You knew it was just time before you flipped out? I've asked to be locked up in a mental hospital and never let out and I'm out. They don't understand. I know that I am not right I'm the head. Even on medication the thoughts do not stop. It's just a matter of time.

I would probably do what you did, ask to be locked up. A therapist, physician, police officer, or judge could baker-act you. This would hold you for up to 72 hours.

Ah, I just realized that's just a law that applies in my state (and I shouldn't assume you're even in my country). Sorry.

All humans are dangerous.
Most all aspies have meltdowns.

Figure out how to best cope with specific stressors, individually one at a time.
Get a special interest.
Other than that, life sucks.

There is no official prevention, only punishment.
The only way into a nuthouse forever is to do something really nutty.
And then it's only a "maybe," most likely prison forever.
