It's funny: The DC/Maryland accent seems pretty Southern from the standpoint of a New Yorker.

I speak with a moderate New York accent--sort of like Woody Allen, rather than Groucho Marx.

The scenery is beautiful, just not the people. The weather is kind of extreme, being really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter.

My voice already makes me sound Canadian, (I was raised in America) mixed with me speaking Cantonese to family, and learning voice acting from the acting teachers I've worked with.
A bunch of autistics I know share voice manipulation. My voice can easily be strained as a bass-baritone, but I have made the style mold to my own when I want to try.
