Compiling a list out of a book I read, then explaining why I don't like them.
“Are you feeling upset?” (No, I'm genuinely happy.)
“Pull yourself together!” (How does this help?)
“Cheer up!” (But I'm still :( )
“But I don’t understand, you shouldn’t feel like that” (But I do).
“You just need to be positive you’ll be fine” (I am, I just feel depressed right now)
“Don’t be silly, you’re overreacting” (Are you saying my emotions aren't real?)
“Just take some deep breaths and count to ten” (The therapist's replacement for REAL help)
“Stop being silly” (Undermines my feelings)
“EVERYONE feels like that, that’s just life” (Do they feel it like I do?)
“You have so much going for you, I don’t understand why you feel down!” (I know but I can’t not feel this way)
“You just have to get on with things!” (Tried that)
“Come on things aren’t that bad!” (But they are to me)
“Stop feeling sorry for yourself.” (If I could, I would)
“I’ve been depressed before.” (Lifelong. :skull: note the speaker's past tense).

LOL!

How about...

"Buck up and grow up, you spoiled brat!"
"Ignore it and it will eventually go away."
"Ignore it and even if it doesn't go away, at least it won't be bothering you."

I'd avoid ALL small talk such as, "Good morning, how are you doing today?"
