share your GameCube memories here.
The GameCube is my favorite system of all time. The first home console I ever got was the PlayStation one, which I enjoyed a lot but I was always jealous of my friends who had an N64 who could play Mario, Zelda, Super Smash Bros and Pokémon games. So I was very excited to jump into a Nintendo console at the dawn of the GameCube(I had already owned the original Gameboy/color so Nintendo wasn't completely new to me). I got the purple GameCube for my birthday with Super Mario Sunshine.
Some of my favorite games on the system are

Animal Crossing
LoZ Windwaker
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros
Paper Mario TTYD
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Pikmin 2
Starfox Assault
Harvest Moon a wonderful life
Kirbys Air ride
Donkey Konga
Tony Hawks Underground 1/2

I have a lot of memories of staying up all night with my friend just playing animal crossing time traveling and trading fruit and playing as well as playing harvest moon all night. I would also like to point out how much fun the multiplayer modes are in Star fox Assault, Pikmin 2, and Kirby's Air ride(city trial) I played those a lot along side smash and kart with my friends. I also have a confession to make I have never played the Metroid prime series I wasn't interested in it at the time and my parents probably would have never let me get it anyway.

what are some of your GameCube memories? :D

I loved the Gamecube. It was my savior from boredom that would have resulted from my parents being much more strict on M rated games like Halo back then.

Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros Melee
Mario Kart Double Dash
Mario Party 7
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
Lord of The Rings, The Two Towers
Lord of The Rings, The Return of the King
Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
The Hobbit
Sonic Heroes
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
There are several others but I never really played them much.
One of my favorite things was the Action Replay Max where codes could be entered, I remember spending hours looking for codes.
The sixth generation of consoles received many fantasy movie titles because of the High Fantasy Boom of the 00's.

I liked Melee ... before it was ruined by wavedashing tourney players.

I still think that the best thing to come out of Melee was the Wombo Combo meme.

I can remember when my brother first bought it when it launched. The first game was Luigi's Mansion and my first GC game was Tarzan Untamed. I thought the graphics were good. I still have the system and lot of the games I have had since high school and the ones I bought from my brother when he sold his Gamecube. Now it's hard to find any used games for it as if it has gotten rare. I haven't played that thing in a while. It still worked last time I played it.

But I loved Mario Kart, Mario Party series, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Dance Mix, Zelda Windwaker (wasn't fond of the kiddie grapics). Twilight Princess, Donkey Konga 1&2, SMB Melee, Simpsons Road Rage and the worst game I ever I thought was Pokemon Channel, I got it for 5 bucks at Best Buy and the game was always boring so I never played it long and I finally got rid of it.

I don't know, it's kind of hard to pick out the GameCube memories, because they overlap with the Wii so much...and, you know, I still play them quite a bit.

I remember a heck of a lot of Super Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker. My brother and his friends played a whole lot of Soul Calibur 2.

Played a lot of great four-player games with my friends, like Four Swords, Pac-Man VS., and Phantasy Star Online.
