it is a monumental feat for me, to be able to make/accumulate enough money to cross the atlantic, and not starve, freeze or sweat to death at my destination.

i performed leg surgery yesterday on a friend of mine who is 11 inches tall.

it is a very radical, invasive, reconstructive procedure i devised this last may that aims to replace the old, discolored, misshapen leg and foot flesh with new flesh which i have in the form of blocks, which i then modify and shape myself before application to the skeleton.

while the blocks of raw flesh are being primed and warmed up in front of the heater, i tie my friend's feet down to a wooden stand using bolts and wing nuts, and strip her leg down to the skeleton using an xacto knife, supporting her waist all the while so she does not fall. i remove the ankle and foot from the leg and work on that separately, sanding her foot bones with a sander to make them more smooth and symmetrical. i do this outside in a well ventilated area, to reduce the risk of health hazards that may arise as a result of inhaling the skeleton dust.
