British nowadays is used as a political umbrella term for all the different cultures of the United Kingdom, whether they're English, Scottish, or Welsh.

Ewan McGregor
Sir Ian McKellen
Sir Christopher Lee
Keira Knightly
Hugo Weaving
Andy Serkis
Christian Bale
Tom Hardy
Benedict Cumberbatch
Martin Freeman
Liam Neeson
Daniel Craig

Jude Law
Ian Holm

I know I'm straying off-topic, but I want to thank Jory for the graphic. I've recently started an online tutoring of British history (in hopes of maybe someday immigrating to England), and that divisional map will come in handy for the course.
