Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Literally two of the greatest games I've ever played.

I used to play railroad tycoon. I loved trains when I was a kid. (I still do)

So in the same way, you only find human beings on a planet of this kind, with an atmosphere of this kind, with a temperature of this kind- supplied by a convenient neighboring star. And so, as the flower is a flowering of the field, I feel myself as a personing- a manning- a peopling of the whole universe. –In other words, I, like everything else in the universe, seem to be a center… a sort of vortex, at which the whole energy of the universe realizes itself- comes alive… an aperture through which the whole universe is conscious of itself. In other words, I go with it as a center to a circumference.”~ Alan Watts

still do also.

ride my bike at the station between the two tracks every week coming home from school.

my mom doesn't drive, so when the father doesn't want to take us somewhere unreachable by bus, train is the only other option.

back to games...there was another PS1 game i had besides NFS III but it was scratched to hell and back and it wouldn't load.
really wanna know what it was.

Farenheit aka The Indigo Prophecy, I really liked the replay ability for hidden things you might not have found during time limit events.

I like a lot of games, but if I had to pick one as the best...

"Super Mario World", hands down.

Would be cool to have an edit option on my post(s), but anyway...

I realized I haven't given any honorable mentions yet, so even though I still think Super Mario World is hands down my favorite, here are a "few" others, in no particular order...

Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3 (NES, SNES [All-Stars 2 and 3 only, didn't care for some of the changes they did to the game mechanics in SMB1 for the All-Stars remake])
Tetris 1 and 2 (NES)
Minecraft (We all knew it would eventually end up being mentioned)
Portal 1 and 2
RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2
Planet Coaster (I have the Alpha version, and cannot wait for the full game to be released!
The Sims 2 and 3 (4 gets a semi-honorable mention. If they kept the open world of TS3, it would get a full mention.)
You Don't Know Jack! (Original PC series. Hated the remake in the early 2010's.)
Legend of Zelda (original, Wind Waker, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Zelda II [it was a bit different, and got a bit of backlash from Zelda fans, but I like it myself)
Wolfenstein 3D
Doom (original series)
Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles
Faxanadu (NES)
Adventures of Lolo 1, 2, 3 (NES)
Maniac Mansion (NES)
Paper Mario 1, 2
Super Mario Kart (Mario Kart 64 goes here as well)
Cities: Skylines

Earthbound, Pokemon(can't pick one), Zelda Twilight Princess, Final Fantasy VII and VII, and Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. I think I have some other favourite games but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

^Nice! We like similar games! :) I wish I could play Earthbound, but I have neither an SNES nor a WIIU. Do you have a favourite part in FFVII?

Magic Rush: Heroes is the first game I've played that allows good communication and global multiplayer combat while still retaining endless and varied character development. If you're not in it, try it.

Mirror's Edge. Besides the absolutely fantastic gameplay i find the aesthetic style of the game extremely comforting and beautiful.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

Image

One of the best written games of all time. And acted brilliantly as well with the characters doing a derivative of Iambic Pentameter.

It's a metroidvania inspired 3D platformer with a dark, gothic atmosphere.

The plot and dialouge was written by Amy Henning who later went on to do the first 3 Uncharted games.

It concerns Raziel, a vampire. First born childe of Kain. Vampires have taken over the world and subjugated the humans for millenia. The world is doomed and beyond saving. Raziel is ordered killed by Kain and betrayed by his vampire bretheren. He gets thrown into the lake of the dead to burn for eternity. He comes back as a soul devouring wraith to exact revenge.

You can get it for PS1 and PC or you can get the PS1 version on PS3 through PSN
