that's EXACTLY what it is.

though my pic is of a softer poseable lady in plasticine. her skeleton is a 300 dollar job handmade using a kit with threaded rods and balljoints, handsaw, and VERY small screws.

the harder, oven fired sculpey individuals can get by perfectly fine with a wire skeleton since they aren't moving.

(at least.....when i'm looking)

I wondered if the sculpture in the picture was made of something else, because of the different colors and also it has a different surface. I didn't know you could move it though. That skeleton sounds like quite a challenge to make. If you're making a new one, it would be interesting to see :)

So the sculpture of lapis lazuli is made of clay, then burnt and painted?

Mmmm sounds delicious  ( :P )

In Norway those bugs are called: "saksedyr" directly translated it means scissor-animal. It's because of the claw thingys. I think they snap them together like scissors, but I'm not a hundred percent sure.

Gyeh, I would not want to have one of those creatures get in my ear! 8O

Um, I started to draw a person. Not finished yet but I think it is coming out pretty well. I have not drawn her other eye yet.

^Are you inspired by anim characters? The proportions makes me think of anim, with the shape of the head and the big eyes. Like this:

Also congrats with the relationship!

Nice drawing, Lilli! :star:

So, I've been learning about this anime I've never seen before [nor do I plan to...], called Neon Genesis Evangelion. As you may guess, there's plenty of weird religious symbolism that has nothing to do with anything in it. Also, sanity is not included.

That looks great, well done!

That's an interesting stroke style it has. What program did you use to make it?

On my third tube of caulking.
If anyone needs me I'll be up a ladder.

I guess it's some kind of productive day after all.

I lacked the torx-3 size driver I needed to fix an Android phone & stripped some screws, luckily it used a TON of those screws so the stripped ones fell to the wrath of a drill press.

Not every day I get to drill-press something that cost north of $500.
