I didn't get to see the eclipse but I didn't want to in the first place because I'm not into that sort of thing. I had a panic attack earlier so the eclipse was the last thing on my mind.

^Oh, sorry to hear, I've had panic attacks before. Recovery can be tough too, so I hope you're doing all right.

I actually got a few good photos of the eclipse. I'll post them here soon.

It wasn't a full eclipse where I am but about 80% of the Sun was covered so it was still pretty awesome. This is a photo of the eclipse at it's climax taken directly from my phone camera:

Here is a similar image taken by holding my solar filter over my phone camera:

After taking these I set up my telescope about as fast as humanly possible and took these two images by holding my phone camera up to the eyepiece:

And these were taken a bit later right before the clouds came in and blocked my view again, you can even see a sunspot:

Hey! No reason why you shouldn't get to enjoy the other parts of such an event :thumright:

I now have first hand proof: If I skip cleaning the apartment, it does NOT clean it self!

Froya, yes, definitely know the feeling of place not cleaning itself, and yes, I have the right to enjoy events just like everyone else. :)

Lillikoi, good luck this week. And if you're scared, maybe we can help or offer understanding/encouragement.

I feel bad :(

I think I've hurt someone who considered me to be a friend.

How could I be so inconsiderate. I don't know when it's my turn to take contact, or when I'm supposed to do so. I tend to pull away. I don't trust anyone either.

Maybe it has to do with me not reflecting about others much. I haven't taken the time to think about people. But if I do, I put myself in the risk of getting hurt... I don't let anyone inside my protective shell.
