I just received a parcel from eBay that I don't remember ordering and I don't appear to have paid for, although I have ordered from that company in the past.
Either I've gone crazy or there's some kind of mistake.

Is it something that you would likely buy?

^ yes, but I'm pretty sure I didn't.
(It's a supplement)
Nothing has come out of my account so I'm worried they've mixed up the shipping details with someone else.
So someone is wondering where their parcel is.
I opened it, because it was addressed to me, and I was expecting something else.
It has an order number which isn't in my buying list.
How would I go about sorting this out?

It's simple... you don't!
;)

Merchant has shipped to your address from his address history by accident.
Deny, deny, deny. Or simply ignore.

I think legally you are allowed to keep it and have no obligation to send it back. Maybe if you had a similar order sent not so long ago they may not have crossed it off and thought they owed you a delivery.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to help with that, but I must bid this thread adieu.

G'night, all! Raleigh, good luck with your postage predicament. :salut:

A gift from the universe then?

The universe usually sends me a big f**k you with bells on, so this is a bit different.

Effectively, yes :). However if you feel guilty i am sure they have a return address of which you could send back postage free by putting RTS on the parcel with their address/crossing your own out and dropping it at the post shop.

^ I'll think about it.

They say people become addicts because of a lack of connection in their lives.
Well, thanks, Captain Obvious.

Ptff. Yeah. Because everyone totally has one and only identical reason for addiction.
