I remember George Lucas mentioning his intention to make Star Wars episode 7,8,9 a long time ago...
Do you think there will be any possibility that these episodes will actually emerge?
I think the older versions of Star Wars were much much better than episode 1,2,3...
I liked the older versions much much better...
But...the idea of episode 7,8,9 is quite enticing...

I thought I saw an interview with George Lucas a while back where he said he intended for there to be 9. The interview I am thinking about was conducted before he made 1, 2, and 3 and at the time it seemed like he would never make another one. Then Episode 1 came out. I hope he does make 7-9, I liked 4-6 the best but 1-3 were still worth watching.

I heard somewhere a while back that George Lucas changed his mind about making 3 more Star Wars movies. If they are made I hope there good. I bet aliens abducted the old George Lucas and replaced him with a look alike which would explain why eps 1,2,and 3 weren't as good.

I hope he does, but I thought there weren't going to be any more.
I liked 4,5 and 6 the most too.

I was very disappointed in 1, 2, and 3 also. I think he should have stopped with the first 3. 2 1/2 even.

The fearsome, dreadful Darth Vader as a whiny emo kid really blew it for me.

And let's not even get started on Jar-Jar...

I believe George Lucas said he was tired of making hundred million dollar movies. Instead he was looking to produce a TV series.

:D :o

If Lucas did decide to do episodes 7, 8 & 9, then by Zod he should get somebody else to write and direct them - because as a scriptwriter he sucks, major-league style.

He said in an interview for a magazine while he was making 1,2 and 3 that this was it. He wasn't going to make the last three installments in the story.

Please, just let the movie series rest!

I heard Lucas decided to end the series with Return of the Jedi instead of continuing on with another story arc he was planning to set up.

Actually part 7,8 and 9 are already there... in bookform :)

I don't know whether they're actually called 7, 8 and 9, but it's an official trilogy on the events that occur starting from five years after when part 6 ended.

I don't trust it. At all. Not the intention, the Man.
