Did you know in the Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders forth edition text revision (DSM-IV-TR) ADD and ADHD were combined into JUST ADHD and the doctor specifies the subtype
Such as
Inattentive subtype (FKA ADD)
Impulsive subtype
Combined subtype (ADHD classic)

I heard that before. I was diagnosed with it before the DSM IV.

Aspergers can deal with ok

Ocd intrusive thoughts tried to ignore and rationalise them away neither seems to work as they are spontaneous/intrusive cbt not worked or medication.

Generalised anxiety disorder cbt not worked or medication near to becoming Agoraphobia if it is not already.

I don't like reeling off lists of disorders/diagnoses that apply to me, as I don't think they're as accurate or helpful as just understanding the things I struggle with. Lots of psych diagnoses have major overlap in their symptoms, too, so it can be very difficult to decide which are the disorders that "really" apply - i.e. if you take any symptom in isolation, it often doesn't make a lot of sense to use it as evidence for two different diagnoses. Psychiatry is a bit of a murky area though, as we have no real understanding of what disorder/disease categories are "real", and how different symptoms and syndromes interact.

Well, my official medical record lists my current problems as: major depressive disorder, psychotic disorder, delusional disorder, affective psychosis, and anxiety.

I also frequently suffered from panic attacks prior to starting the medication I'm on now.

Well, I got released from a psychiatric hospital about three weeks ago, and I guess they took Asperger's off the diagnosis list. Current diagnoses as of 1/19/2016 are: Autism Spectrum disorder, mild, without intellectual development disorder, Bipolar 2 Disorder, most recent episode depressed, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, social phobia, and panic without agoraphobia. I'm angry that they didn't give me a PTSD diagnosis, then again there was little individual therapy but plenty of group therapy and I wasn't comfortable talking about my traumatic life experiences in an entire group.
