Has anybody ever played the God of War series?

It is about Kratos, who seeks revenge against Ares, the God of War, then all the Olympic gods.

Yup, I have the complete collection! It gets a bit corny at times and there have been a few cases, mostly involving instant death traps where I feel the games can come off as cheap but overall they're pretty fun.

Yeah I've played it. Generally don't go for platformers though. The series is ok if you are into that style of game. he boss battles are cool. I love boss battles against enormous creatures.

Great series. The combat system isn't as fine tuned as, say, Devil May Cry but the style more than makes up for it. Admittedly i have not played the most recent installment but I'll correct that soon enough.

I just finished watching walkthrough videos of Chains of Olympus, God of War, Ghost of Sparta, God of War 2, and God of War 3. In that order, too.

It looks to me like they are done. I mean, God of War III pretty much wrapped it up. However, there is talk of a new game that may be a reboot.

Kratos was a guest character on the 2011 Mortal Kombat game.

I have been playing the first two games, but I have found them frustrating. The games and the battles are great, but I HATE these traps!

I managed to beat God of War II. However, the room with the saws and the narrow beams keeps me from finishing the first game.

Looks like I was wrong. They are making another game. Only now, it takes place in Norse Mythology.
