What goes into embedding Soundcloud/Mixcloud players?

In forum posts on a site like this? I see we have youtube in the upper portion and I'm sure there's probably half a dozen other sources - ie. Vimeo etc. - that are getting hotter as well. Is it a lot of work or just a few patches?
