Hi

I'm trying to put a list together to give my GP or counsellor that outlines my traits. I'm really struggling to find words for it all. Anyone know of any good resources that might help? Sorry if this question has been posted many times before.

Thanks in advance.

How can we know what traits you have if you can't describe them?

Just write here in your own words your difficulties and maybe I can help to describe it in a way that is more easily understood, if you have trouble with words.

It might help to have a read through the NICE guidelines on ASD assessment referrals as it will show you the kind of things they will be looking for. Write a brief account of how you are affected by each of the criteria and then present this to your GP during your appointment. It will help make sure that the things you talk about with the GP are kept relevant and to the point. http://www.nice.org.uk/cg142/chapter/gu ... assessment
