In all honestly it was the best possible outcome. I don't like to revel in someone's firing but they need to look at their academic standards.

You would expect someone who was an assistant professor of journalism to know the basics of free speech. For that reason alone they should consider their suitability for that role.

Actually no – the Chronicle notes that a bill allowing campus carry was introduced a month after Click’s tangle with Schierbecker.

Regressiveness is becoming a huge problem in universities right now and this is not minor, nor does it lack influence. This is not all of the left.

The problem is these "dumb kids" aren't small in number. Naive is a better term. Whole student union have convinced there students to vote on such draconian policies. This is in the UK and Canada too, so the problem is international.
