Before Bobby Kennedy was murdered in 1968 , he had won the California Democratic primary . With those delegates won , did that put him over the top for winning the Dem. nomination that year ?
I once thought so but what I read of Wikipedia's article seems to say no , that CA's delegates were not enough to win the nomination yet .
Anybody ???

The only thing about the time I recall was he was in the process of re-opening the investigation into his brother's murder when he was also assassinated, I suspect by the same people.
