What age were you when you got your first boy/girlfriend?

Probably because it's commonly agreed you had no business having a partner at those ages and your parents shouldn't have let you.

How can you possibly get into relationships at age 6?! !

I had a girlfriend at 4-6 we did everything together and spent all free time together, we told people we were boyfriend and girlfriend. Yes we did kiss but obviously at that age it wasn't snogging! They even let me sit with her in school assembly (it was split boy/girl where I was) as she was scared when she started and it just carried on from there. Unfortunately we were not in the same class . Her parents split and she moved away otherwise we would have easily carried that relationship on for years and years. She lived 3 doors down from me. I was heartbroken, I went to her dads house every weekend for the next year after she left. He eventually said she won't be coming around and he eventually moved away.

I started going on dates at 17, but had my first real relationship at 19.

My first relationship of the romantic type began at the age of 23 when I met someone while playing Diablo II, but was never really specified until we got married at 26. I know that may sound odd, but that's the story of my life.

15. First "date" was when I was 12.

I never did the whole going on dates thing with my two exes or my current girlfriend.

Dating helped me to become confident with who I was, oddly enough. It helped me to know what to expect.

I had this one weird "relationship" at age 17 with a girl I had met one year earlier in school, but then I moved away to go live with my dad and it kinda' became a long distance thing although I sometimes still did go back there since it was where my mom still lived. We ended up going on a single date and when I brought up the possibility of a second one she refused. I still don't know if that could even be called a relationship, but I generally don't count it.

Besides that, I've been very single and that is unlikely to change any time soon. It has been over two years since then and now I'm just over a month from turning 20 having still only gone on one date ever. Now I know that I'm asexual and I thought aromantic too but now I think it's just that romance terrifies me. That might have something to do with having failed horribly the only time I ever tried but I don't know for sure.

That's good. I had no luck but bad trying to get dates & I probably would of screwed up on them so it's really good I met my girlfriends the way I did.

Not the greatest experience in retrospect, and from it I've learned that close relationships aren't for me.
