Crocus on the lawn and bird corpses on the carpet.

sweating while exercising.

Saw some newly sprouted daffodils. Buds on tress getting ready to blossom. It's warmer and the air has that "Spring feel".

There is less snow and ice on the road outside, and some places have no snow.

Signs of spring, lessee ... a foot and a half of snow on the ground, five-foot piles at every street corner, 23F with a stiff north wind at sunset. Spring is here!

Daffodils

Kids using plastic saucers to go sledding down an embankment in the rear of the subdivision. While it looked like fun, it just depressed me even more than I am right now, since I'm too old for that kind of activity, and I'm the subdivision's grump.

A small falcon just passed overhead, probably a kestrel, surveying the snowy landscape.

52F at sunset on the first day of spring, so at least all the snow is starting to melt.

A flock of Robins just appeared at sunset, flying around and wondering whose bright idea it was to come back this early when the ground is solid, the temperature is 24F, and the winds are gusting to 40mph.
