Where is the money going to come from to pay for all of these "essential" health services? Don't forget that all of the illegal aliens will be getting benefits as well. All of the takers are not contributing to the system. So how is it going to be paid for???????? I keep asking this and no one says anything. Nothing is for free.

You do realize that if the top 1% / billionaires truly were taxed proportionally to their income there would doubtless be enough funds for free healthcare. True socialism involves an equitable distribution of wealth.

What everybody said for months the Republican convention was going to be with the exception of multiple ballots, bitter fights over the platform, rioting is what the Democratic convention is looking increasingly likely to be. Unlike Chicago 1968 which was heavily a police riot against the Yippies the police will be too intimidated and will only perfunctory try and stop the combination of SJW's, communists, and Anarchists from doing what they want to do.

On the Republican side while there will probably be riots from those mentioned above inside the convention there will be no public party disunity Trump will win every delgate by affirmation. The Republican politicians will prove once again they are well politicians, weasels with no principals trying desperatly to belatedly jump on the Trump bandwagon. As for the actual never Trump Republican voters will do or not do is still in question.

From Drudge:

I have found that Beck is a sore loser. I had stopped listening to him after he started badmouthing Trump so I missed all the things he said about Trump supporters - with some also being loyal Beck supporters, like me. After reading here what Beck really thinks about Trump supporters - about me, I'm done with him and will be canceling my Blaze subscription. This is a sad day for me.

I think we will, finally, have decent voter turnout. Passions are inflamed right now.

I just heard that Kasich will be dropping out today. They're saying he was just staying in to get Cruz out. I don't know what I think about that.

If there's any positives to be gained from this year's elections it's that voter turnouts are higher and therefore more representational than they have been in recent years.

Healthy people contribute to the economy. The money will come from increased taxable income, and from the money we currently pay to insurance companies. Our system is the worst possible way to do it, and the most expensive. Just like riding the bus is cheaper than having to buy a car and car insurance.

It's just a case of "politics as usual".

I swear, candidates should not be allowed to campaign beyond submitting their CV's and being individually interviewed/interrogated by the justices of the Supreme Court on live TV.

You know, it never even occurred to me that one would 'turn in' someone. Perhaps if someone threatened you, it might make sense. I believe it says more about you that you would not only turn people in but be proud of it than anything else. You remind me of my mother who used to make everyone's life miserable and believed in things like the Trilateral Commission. I wouldn't use this forum to discuss this, but you also don't like to get PM's either. You must be rather unhappy with life. You certainly sound unhappy. That's a shame, as there are more good people here than bad, probably by a lot...

And you remind me of my father.

Oh, I'm actually quite happy too - after what happened last night.

I'm nothing like your father. I would have straightened you out about many things you falsely believe. As for last night, you would be...

What is going to have to happen is the people that have good healthcare now will have to give that up to have mediocre healthcare along with everyone else just so everyone can have healthcare. Less than 50% of the population works and puts into the system. I need to look it up, but my Ma said that Russia is trying to get away from the socialist way because it isn't working. Socialism never works in the end.
