Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone else had a dual diagnosis of Asperger's and schizophrenia (or another psychotic illness)? If so, how do you cope with the extra challenges that this comorbidity brings? I hear voices all the time and am very anxious around people. Any ideas about how to cope with it?

Thanks,

Arctic

I suffered from psychotic depression for a while. I saw a psych & took afew different meds including an antidepressant, antipsychotic & lithium. It gradually got better as I started working & made friends but it didn't get fully better till after I quit working & posted about stuff on forums alot & sorted things out.

Sorry to hear that ASS-P

OP, Schizophrenia is an umbrella term for mental illness and affects everyone differently

Ask how you cope with Asperger's? Ask why are you alive right now? Ask why you question your life? It's all the same. You are more then the sum of your genes, You are more then the sum of your upbringing. You are real.
