FYI, Borders is changing their program at end of this month.
Instead of 5% of price of any & all purchases (which they let you spend at year's end), now you've got to spend a certain amount & then you get a certain amount, but you have to use it up within the following month. It's in increments that mean you could almost get another amount but not quite, like spending $97 won't get you any more than spending only $50, yet you don't get the reward for reaching $100 because you only spent $97. I'm displeased with it.
I'll still shop there, but less.

B&N also has a 10% discount program that you have to pay to enrol in. My husband enrols, since he always has to buy updated computer books for his business. I use it too when I shop there from time to time.

i find their books overpriced so don't go there, i perfer the book shops in Hay On Wye.
