Off topic, but I initially misread this and thought "being evaluated by Dr. Who would make me feel easier, too!"

Especially if it was David Tennant's Doctor. I would settle for Matt Smith or Christopher Eccleston, though.

Hey Zkydz, have you read "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac? You remind me, in a way, of a character named Dean Moriarity. He was a stream-of-consciousness sort of person.

There's a poster here named OliveOilMom whom I'm sure you'd have interesting conversations with. She's very much into the stream-of-consciousness motif.

You two could feed off each other....and create a novel which needs much editing--but which will, ultimately, be a good one.

^^speaking of telephone booths, I wouldn't mind having Rufus [George Carlin's character in "bill and ted's excellent adventure"] moderate our meetups.

Superman was a great contortionist if he was able to change his clothes in phone booths.

Booth, booth, booth,
Booth of Earl
Oh, my dahling....
the booth is so tight
the glass may be fogged
but they see right through...

Booth, booth, booth,
Booth of Earl
oh, my dahling
My cape is stuck to my boot
The glass may be fogged
but my spit curl is droopy

Booth, booth, booth,
Booth of Earl
oh Dahling....
I hit the wrong control
now it's all Daleks
and my underwear is on the outside....

Booth, booth, booth,
Booth of Davros.....

Even though it came out when I was one, I first heard "Duke of Earl" when I was about 11.

I was in summer camp, and the kids were making up a song about a counselor to the tune of "Duke of Earl." I also heard it on the radio at about the same time.

The Duke of Earl also had a sort of moderate hit named "Groovy Situation" eight years after "Duke of Earl."

It's one of those songs which you would recognize if you hear it, but it doesn't have enough impact for it to be truly memorable.

Gene Chandler is the Duke of Earl's "real" name.

I don't think it's actually his birth name, though.
