I'm not the only who hates that ad! Almost every advertisement these days centers on sex or bathroom functions, and they always come on when I'm eating. Yuck!

Speaking of absolutely gross advertising, I saw an ad for a medical program called "My Strange Addiction," in which someone said she was addicted to chewing dirty diapers. Now that's disgusting!

^ I don't think it's so much a medical program as it is a "Hey, look at this circus freak!" show disguised as one.

Many if not most of the people on My Strange Addiction have Pica. While that explains why they're eating weird or disgusting non-food items, how can they be eating very large quantities of stuff like laundry detergent and Vick's Vapor Rub and not be fatally poisoned? The show must be "exaggerating" the amount they eat.

Actually, the show would have a field day with me. Not because I eat things like broken glass or cigarette ashes, but because of my many other so-called "addictions", even though they're not really harmful.
