Venezuela shouldn't of elected a communist bus driver as it's president, Hugo was at least a military man.

Meanwhile in the united States where shareholders run rampant and there are no price controls, gasoline is about 2.50 a gallon and bread is around 2.00 and overstocked.

Venezuela has a lot of oil too.

Wow wouldn't it change things if:

An elected representative had to
-go to war when they declare war
- pay part of their personal money when putting a country or institution in debt
-be subject to the same amount of monitoring as the average citizen

Socialism may be a big part of the blame but, the U.S. is currently waging economic warfare against it's enemies, Venezuela being one of them.
