Hmmm.... I missed out June, as I was in France (no real excuse, as I had perfectly good MiFi internet access all the time). Anyway, here I am, at the end of July, fighting against Windows 10. Not mine, but my partner is on W7, and still can't quite tear herself away from Microsnot. The free upgrade is only available for another four days. However, it seems the "revert to previous OS" works fine, and that gives you 30 days to mess with W10 before deciding it's rubbish.

Oh, and don't forget to thaw out the asparagus before painting it navy blue. I always forget that, and the ears drop off.

Hey! Who stole August?

Look, if you don't want to admit it, I'll close my eyes while you put it back.

Looks like someone walked out with October. Just as well as we went from sweating to shivering as quickly as we did the other way back in May....

Hello!
Does anyone use meet-up to find stuff to do and groups to join?

I've joined several groups and quit a couple that sounded strange or demanding once I got in.
I've gone to very few meet-ups so far but they were nice. I'm in the midst of a slow move to another city right now and hope meet ups will be a good way to not be so lonely once I'm settled.

Does anyone still live here? Feels like I went away to Uni and came home to find out the family has moved with no forwarding address. :(

Yes indeed. We moved to Mars. It's nice to be back home. :alien:

Still here (Mars, that is). Puttering around with things: Geiger-Muller tubes, medical imaging, dog walking, food eating, Python programming, singing, and many more things that I can't bring to mind at present.

Well that's good! Have you "seen" any of the old crowd in here lately? Postie? Laurie?

Things are going well on this end. I've been able to retire a bit early, so I sleep late every day. :D
