grateful for the perspective. glad the past is over. grateful for the good that occurred. grateful the bad is, more or less, over. having gone through the past provides perspective about the current situation.

I'm grateful that my finding a better place to live is working out. I remind myself every day to be grateful for whatever there is. My usual way is to worry myself to death, but I added gratitude and it's a good thing. You can't worry and be grateful at the same time.

! !! I ate this the other day! I usually hate broccoli, but in this recipe it was great! Technically it was broccolini but hey, same same. I usually just can't take the texture / taste combo of broccoli but yay for Asian soup.
I am grateful my relatives are away for the night and I can finally have some solitude.
