Does anyone on here who is on the autism spectrum have a hoarding problem? I wouldn't say I am an extreme hoarder, but I do have problems with getting rid of stuff. I feel like I have to hold on to certain things even if I don't use them anymore. When I do get rid of stuff I later regret it and I wish I still had whatever I got rid of. A lot of stuff holds certain memories even if it is useless. This is something I really struggle with. Another reason I struggle with it is because it is a change. If I owned something for many years or my whole life, it would be a change if I got rid of it. I don't like change. I'm not like the people you see on the Extreme Hoarders show. I do get rid of stuff, but there is still a lot I don't need that I should get rid of but choose not to.
