does anyone else find themselves doing any of these;copying what others say just after the other person says it e.g the person says something and then you repeat what they said straight back to them.if someone has a different accent and you are talking to them you accidentally start talking in there accent.

Yes, especially the first one. When someone says "happy birthday" to me, I repeat it back sometimes which is quite embarrassing.

I do it a lot with "thank you." I tend to say it back rather than saying, "You're welcome."

I still do for a different reason: No thanks to my own short term memory. And the part when I have to know if I'm NOT mishearing things.
