Most cooked vegetables are gross to me, especially peas (they make me choke) and green beans. One time, I was on this weird diet that included green beans, and I've been turned off by them ever since. The only way I can stand peas is in pea soup but I prefer lentil soup to pea soup.

I remember as a kid, the T.V. dinners were really gross. I probably hated peas because of them. Now, most frozen foods are okay.

I hate frozen chicken. Whenever my mom makes it I just refuse to eat it. I also don't like sandwiches very much, but certain kinds are good.

Unpopular opinion:.

It is OK to burp and fart. It is OK when I bite the sticker off the apple, wipe my mouth on my sleeves, or fail to employ utensils.

It is not OK for anyone to verbally remark on how I ate and what I ate. It is not OK for them to screech "eww" or tell me to use a fork next time or scrunch their precious lil heads up in disgust

I don't care for crab legs, but that is because I am allergic.

I like vegetables raw or undercooked. I like carrots but if a meal includes cooked carrots I'll pass. I will eat some vegetables(green beans, eggplant) only fried.
I can't eat things cooked in vegetable oils or margarine. Olive oil and butter are my favorites but sometimes will go with lard/bacon fat too.
I can't stand mayonnaise, I mean even the sight of it makes me wanna puke.
I don't like chocolate but cacao is ok in cakes and puddings though I hardly eat them too.
I didn't eat anything sweet until I was 17 except for a few relatively less sweet fruits (eg. quince which is still my fav. fruit)
I don't like rice unless it's cooked in a very specific method to make a specific texture.
I won't eat meals if they have a sweet sauce.
I don't like the taste of frozen goods.
I don't like pizza with a lot of ingredients.
I eat plain yogurt with salty food. (Not unpopular in my home country but where I live)
I eat lettuce like others eat a bag of chips.

I don't like the idea of eating crab or lobster, because I would feel awkward opening them up in front of people.

I find asparagus to be highly offensive.

A list of foods I do like would probably be far shorter than a list of foods I don't.

I prefer tofu to meat in a lot of dishes, even though I'm not vegetarian.

Frozen peas just do not work. The texture is almost as disgusting as cauliflower cheese, a dish that was invented as a form of torture.

Seafood... where do I start? I used to hate it all, but now like white-fleshed fish. If it has enough batter or breadcrumbs, that is. Particularly offensive: cold prawns. Like fishy Styrofoam. Just why would you do that? (They're almost edible in a hot, spicy curry). Tuna: never mind the taste, the smell takes me back to "little accidents" at primary school. Salmon isn't that horrible, but a bit meh. To me it tastes like failed cod.

Usually I prefer tofu and seitan to meat

And I am not vegetarian either

But I was vegetarian age 12 to 19

Health stayed the same

But social and family pressure went up

Now I usually eat several servings of meat a week

It is just too inconvenient to be vegetarian

Like if it was a group and I was the only vegetarian

Some vegans act all  holier than thou :jester:

Some Atkins dieters act like vegans are repulsive

Today I ordered a Happy Meal at McDonald's, which I haven't done in a long time. I had a cheeseburger, fries, and root beer with it, none of that "healthy"nonsense like apple slices instead of fries. And I LIKED it!
I also liked the toy Piranha Plant from SMB I got with the meal. I was hoping to get a Yoshi, but all they had left were the Piranha Plants, but it'll do.
