I like vegetables raw or undercooked. I like carrots but if a meal includes cooked carrots I'll pass. I will eat some vegetables(green beans, eggplant) only fried.
I can't eat things cooked in vegetable oils or margarine. Olive oil and butter are my favorites but sometimes will go with lard/bacon fat too.
I can't stand mayonnaise, I mean even the sight of it makes me wanna puke.
I don't like chocolate but cacao is ok in cakes and puddings though I hardly eat them too.
I didn't eat anything sweet until I was 17 except for a few relatively less sweet fruits (eg. quince which is still my fav. fruit)
I don't like rice unless it's cooked in a very specific method to make a specific texture.
I won't eat meals if they have a sweet sauce.
I don't like the taste of frozen goods.
I don't like pizza with a lot of ingredients.
I eat plain yogurt with salty food. (Not unpopular in my home country but where I live)
I eat lettuce like others eat a bag of chips.

I don't like the idea of eating crab or lobster, because I would feel awkward opening them up in front of people.

I find asparagus to be highly offensive.

A list of foods I do like would probably be far shorter than a list of foods I don't.

I prefer tofu to meat in a lot of dishes, even though I'm not vegetarian.

Frozen peas just do not work. The texture is almost as disgusting as cauliflower cheese, a dish that was invented as a form of torture.

Seafood... where do I start? I used to hate it all, but now like white-fleshed fish. If it has enough batter or breadcrumbs, that is. Particularly offensive: cold prawns. Like fishy Styrofoam. Just why would you do that? (They're almost edible in a hot, spicy curry). Tuna: never mind the taste, the smell takes me back to "little accidents" at primary school. Salmon isn't that horrible, but a bit meh. To me it tastes like failed cod.

Usually I prefer tofu and seitan to meat

And I am not vegetarian either

But I was vegetarian age 12 to 19

Health stayed the same

But social and family pressure went up

Now I usually eat several servings of meat a week

It is just too inconvenient to be vegetarian

Like if it was a group and I was the only vegetarian

Some vegans act all  holier than thou :jester:

Some Atkins dieters act like vegans are repulsive

I hate jam & jelly, and butter is the only thing I will put on my toast.

Today I ordered a Happy Meal at McDonald's, which I haven't done in a long time. I had a cheeseburger, fries, and root beer with it, none of that "healthy"nonsense like apple slices instead of fries. And I LIKED it!
I also liked the toy Piranha Plant from SMB I got with the meal. I was hoping to get a Yoshi, but all they had left were the Piranha Plants, but it'll do.

Raw meats are disgusting, you couldn't get me to eat sushi or tartar if you paid me. Yuck!
Noodles are overrated. Give me pasta any day!
Plain yellow cheese is boring without some sort of fruit on top, like grapes, apple, or Allium porrum.
Potatoes are tasty.
I prefer bread for breakfast, not cereals unless it's really hot, and then I want my cereals to swim in yoghurt not milk. I don't like the taste of plain milk anymore; haven't for a long time.
I love bread with brown cheese and chocolate milk
Heated bread or white bread with brown cheese and orange marmelade (not the sweetest kind) is a treat!

I don’t like mashed potatoes.
Chocolate tastes better in the early afternoon, not after dinner.
I don’t like Chinese food.
Fries are good dipped in almost anything, not just ketchup!
I like vegetables with my breakfast.

Aren’t noodles and pasta the same thing?

^ Noodles are Asian and pasta is Italian. That's the only real difference, I guess. But for years my family have used phrases like "spaghetti noodles" and "rigatoni noodles".

And I LOVE pasta and noodles! To heck with carbs! Whenever I make home-made spaghetti the sauce has lots of tomatoes and vegetables in it, so that makes it nutritious, right?
