Is Tourettes a psychological problem? Just curious. Are psychological problems built into this syndrome or are the problems just a product of abuse and misunderstanding from other people?
Can somebody help me?

It seems that the majority agrees that Tourettes is a neurological problem. It is thought to be caused by a faulty circuit in the basal ganglia, which is responsible for motor control. However, psychological factors such as stress and other emotions can affect the Tourettes symptoms.
