Is buying own books an illegal usage of campaign funding?

Used to buy own books, I assume JK Rowling didn't exactly do that to get millions sold. What are the limits, though? Manufacturing leaflets I assume is acceptable with public donations, but getting royalties due to numbers bought?

...and I wonder how much of it was really written by one person, I read that another only had a paragraph or so...

Well I for one am not surprised at the criminal aspect of either candidate. I would be interested to know though if he actually made a profit since there seems to be some doubt into rather or not Trump actually got royalties for the sales.

Also kudos on the finding the article,

Doesnt he also house his staff in Trump hotels? And presumably pays the rent with campaign funds. Illegal? Or not?
