I really hope this passes. I could use some good news on the political front for once. All these Supreme Court cases about transgender rights that are going to be coming up in the coming years are a large reason why I don't hate Clinton quite as much as Trump. With her picks for justices, these cases would have a chance. With Trump's picks? I mean, his running mate being Pence should be sign enough.

I'm an originalist, so I think the court should rule as the law is written.

Personally, however, it doesn't matter to me what bathroom someone uses. Further, I think it's pointless for the government (or a government entity, like a public school) to tell people what bathroom to use.
