I’d love more quiet zones in public places. Kudos to Busch Gardens Tampa, for they built in many peaceful nooks where I could take the kids when they (and I) got overstimulated. The convention center in Orlando is great for that as well, which made MegaCon an even more wonderful experience.

How Can Artificial Intelligence Help People with Aspergers or Autism? (LINK)

Artificial intelligence (AI) may help with some basic day to day tasks; yet at this time, it's best not to depend too much on AI.

One area worth considering (not included in the LINK) is how AI can open-up career development options. With technology increasingly taking over, and even creating new opportunities; we can start-out by studying how AI can be incorporated into paid work, AI for generating extra-income initially, and AI for generating full-time income later on.

More job opportunities with skill as focus and not "fitting in" to the culture. The latter has become a huge consideration with networking and advancement potential. Having basic people skills and being polite is one thing but I feel its micromanagement to expect co-workers to be "friends". Even at entry levels being the odd man out despite having skills is an issue in the workforce

Motivation, I think with that everything else would come if needed.

a new set of lungs.
i am becoming more breathless as time goes by.
i own a house with nothing owing, and i have plenty of money, but it all matters nothing if you can not breathe.

i mean everything in my life has been disrupted by my emphysema.
i can barely go down to the shops (driving of course) and i have to wait until i have enough breath before i get out and go and order something to eat.

lately, i can not even do that. i have to ring taxi's to go and get my stuff for me (they come here first and i give them my ATM card for the purchase and the fare).

i am so sick of living this way.

thank you so much for that article. i will discuss it with my doctor (if i can get him to come to my place, because, idiotically there is a 20 step stairway descent to the clinic. i may get down, but coming back up is terrifying).

i am not sure what i will do. i do not experience distress when i am calmly sitting at my desk. it's only when i start to move that i suddenly realize my incapacity.

look at these 2 videos if you will. the first one is a video from 3 years ago. he is talking about his life with emphysema.

the second one is quite distressing to watch. it was only a few months ago.

More quiet places, less small talk, jobs that focus on skill and of course, more cash :)

An opportunity to have an advocate to accompany me to places, and to help me read people and social situations.
