Neighborhood Watch from Venice Beach, 1983

This was the best song on the entire album:

Here's a few more:

The Offenders, Killeen Texas, 1985, (Six years before Killeen got it's 15 Minutes of Fame as being the home of the Luby's Cafeteria Mass Shooting) Also, RIP Mikey Offender (2007) and Tony Offender (2012)

MDC, from when they were still in Texas, and hadn't moved to SF and gotten involved with Drugs. --Two songs in sequential order.

I always thought it was funny how those Texas bands like MDC, The Dicks, and Big Boys were all gay communists. I guess it just goes to show how much punk is a rebellion against one's surrounding environment.

AFAIK, not all of the members of those bands were gay. Just Dave(MDC), Gary(The Dicks), and Biscuit (Big Boys).

A LOT of the southern punk bands had gay members or were entirely gay, as was the case of the B-52's. Speaking of gay punk bands from Texas, here's another one, not just a song, but a full show from the hieght of their career, interspersed with an LSD Fueled interview with an SPK soundtrack:

Lately I've really been enjoying Rival Schools, which was the last project of the major creative force behind Quicksand and Gorilla Biscuits:
