In no particular order:

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Toy Story 3
Captain America: Civil War
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Mission: Impossible III
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
That might be it.

It definitely helps when the movies are based on books.

I like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade better than Temple of Doom OR Raiders of the Lost Ark.

'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'
'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'
'The Exorcist III'
'Halloween III: Season of the Witch'
'A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'
'Friday the 13th Part 3' (though part IV was the best of the series)

'Last Crusade' is fantastic, but I can't say I like it more than 'Raiders'.
'Back to the Future Part III' is my personal favorite of the series, but I can't say it's better than the first two.
'Army of Darkness' is a cult classic, but again, I can't say it's better than the first two.
'Jaws 3D' is a lot of fun as a bad movie, but no way is it better than the first.

Lord of the Rings - all three were terrific but yeah, the third edges out the other two by a nose.

Revenge of the Sith - at least for the 2nd Star Wars trilogy, this 3rd movie was the best of the bunch, but that's not saying much.

Indianna Jones - I agree, The Last Crusade was the best of the bunch here as well.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly is a prequel, but I guess it counts.

Prequel? I've never heard it to be one.

Revenge of the Sith was better than the first two, I think.
