Are there any Aspies who come out in hives from time to time?

It seems it is linked to temperature and also to eating quorn for my boyfriend. Anyone else suffer the same?

Certain foods, sometimes animals, plants I come into contact with outside.

Not often, but I do. Allergies suck.

What are hives?
Just makes me think of bees.
I get a rash on my hands when it's hot though.

It's an annoying, itchy rash that can either stay in one spot on your body, or spread depending on the cause. Stress & allergens are the main cause of hives. They can look like giant horsefly or mosquito bites and itch like crazy.

it would be really interesting to find out why other aspies think they come out in hives? as I said my boyfriend seems to quite often come out in them after eating quorn and also when he gets cold.....
perhaps its related to anxiety too but im not sure...

Oh I think I get that on my fingers.
Usually in hot weather and my mum said once she thought I got them when I ate strawberries.

I get a rash if I just scratch my skin for a while. I also get hives in hot weather and from certain medications.

I used to get them when I was younger every school year. The day before the first day of school I'd break out in them horribly. I don't anymore, but temperature changes still make my skin extremely itchy-mainly my hands.

I rarely get hives (it's been eight years since my last break-out), but when I do have them they're really bad. And I mean really bad. When I was a little younger than two, I fell onto a fireant hill and had an extreme break-out, resulting me in being rushed to the ER. And in elementary school, I used to get hives whenever I ate cinnamon (that's no longer the case). And when I was seven, I had a major break-out from over-usage of chlorine in the pool where I took swimming lessons. I did go back to that pool when I was fifteen and the water was fine then. So as you see, hives are really bad for me. I wonder why I never have that problem with zits. Hey, I'm not complaining!

I've had them from stress, but only very occasionally.

Same here, and certain insect stings would mark me very bad. I got bit by blackflies
when I was staying at my mother's Adirondack house, the marks were visible on my
arms for almost two years.

I get this weird red stuff mostly around my neck. I'm not really sure what causes it, but it goes away after a few hours. (Might somehow be related to shaving but I'm not sure-I have to use an electric razer because my skin can't handle a razer blade.)
