so, my iPad went dead yesterday, so I plugged it up to charge, and then I think it tried to turn on before it had enough charge, and then what it's beenn doing is the Apple apple shows up as usual, but then it would go dead before I can even open it. it's been doing that since last night and I've been on here with my 3DS. (THIS SITE IS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE ON A 3DS)

so yea somebody please tell me how to fix this...

Is there some button on it that you can switch it to "off"? So you can simply turn it off while it recharges?

ugh if I could have turned it off do you think I woukd have by now? it wont respond to any of the buttons.

Press and hold both the power and the home buttons at the same time, release both buttons after about 10 seconds when the Apple logo appears. This forces the ipad to power cycle and come up with a fresh reboot.

You're only other device is a 3DS? I think it's time for you to buy a PC.

The 3DS is one of the best game machines ever but you need more than an iPad for study and word processing.

Solution: Buy a Thinkpad, and you never have to worry about not having internet access when your iPad stops working. I find it much easier to type with an actual keyboard, anyway.

Hmm, have you tried charging your iPad all the way before turning it on?
