Being Miss QVC, I was just watching my favorite show. - Logo and got a new cardigan that I just love because of the lace, but don't need, of course. I'm watching all these women parade around in the nice clothes and I'm wondering why do men not like fashionable clothes? All the guys I know just wear the same old jeans and t-shirt or button shirts. It also made me wonder if men think women are nuts for wanting so many different clothes. I know I could use a house just for a closet! Some days, how I feel is totally dependent on what I'm wearing. How come men aren't the same - or are they?

You should ask this question in the Men's forum.

Sorry, but now I am picturing Peggy Bundy and how she'd order all this stuff from the shopping network. :P To answer your question, I DO like to have a style. I like to dress para/vintage military/80s style. Basically, I like to dress like 80s action heroes lol. Also, I Loooooooooooooooooove aviator and "shield" sun glasses.

A lot of young men I know are into fashion. Not so much the older ones though.

As for me, I just prefer what's economical and looks good on me. No blowing £100 on trainers, I just wear my £20 Umbros.

I dress to look more masculine. I'd say the military style jacket is the male version of a dress, so to speak lol.

Do we have a men's forum now? Because it seems like most of the men have been in the women's forum lately.

Unless I am doing something that requires any kind of acrobatic-exertion of activity, I prefer to wear business-suits and other such formal-attire, and I would be cool with having at least 4-8 business-suits for daily wearing.

I was going to, but I've seen so many people wearing it this month I was afraid I'd be accused of just trying to follow the crowd. I prefer to be more avant-garde.

I so don't want to believe this is true, but I have a feeling it is.

I know plenty of gay boys who are into fashion.
Far fewer straight ones that are nearly as into fashion.

Most guys I know are just about simple practicality. But we're just regular working class people who hang out at the beach.

White collar professionals are more into fashion as they tend to "dress to impress," and all that bs.
