Im making a serious effort to get a certain job... But I was reading conflicting information about it and I asked and I got the answer the job was part of the Breeding Bird Survey, not the Breeding Bird Atlas...

Should I have known the difference? What do you do about such a mistake?

Also I think I found something better anyway, a grad position at a university close to my house about a bird I studied before... Cool!
