What is one aspect of your personality, or a talent you possess that you're particularly proud of, that is attributable to your autism? For me, I'd have to say it's my steel trap mind for details and facts. Once I learn something, I practically never forget it.

I have quite an impressive memory. I will sometimes watch a TV show that I saw as a kid or a young teenager and be able to repeat portions of the dialogue word-for-word.

As for my physics skills, they can't really be attributed to autism. I have a good friend from my undergrad who got better grades and test scores than I did, and he wasn't autistic.

I was pleased, when I was 8, that I knew all the capitals in the world.

It was only later that I learned that people couldn't give two craps about that.

Being able tune out certain types pains kinda handy seeing I shattered my knee in motocross crash before i was diagnosed, Always had surgeons and doctors telling me worst knee injury they had seen and asking my pain levels because they didn't believe when I would say it wasn't to bad.

The odd perspective the norm couldn't grasp.

Even if some people wouldn't appreciate it, I would rather saying what I'm seeing than lie to them just to convince them.

I think that's really cool. I once memorized all the capitals of the US states. I love collecting information like that.

My voice is so monotone that I can talk anybody to sleep.

That hasn't come in handy yet--quite the opposite, actully--but it's the only thing I could think of.
