Does Asperger's prevent Alzheimer's/dementia?

I read somewhere that having Asperger's can be a benefit in your older years against Alzheimer's and dementia. It has something to do with the cortisol in our brains. I don't know if this is true or not. Aspies are always using their brains and we tend to have great memories. This isn't surprising if it is true.

No.

I've had my DNA sequenced and analyzed. My results point to the following:

A) I'm at an increased risk for late onset of Alzheimer's around 80

B) I'm at a decreased to almost no risk of dementia due to the amount of DNA that matches to Neanderthal ancestry

C) I'm at increased risk for being Autistic, this is certainly the case as a result of self diagnosis and test scores

The DNA markers and studies across the three are looking at different portions of the DNA.
