Blog/diary forum?

Hey,

I want to write my thoughts and feelings on this forum, but there isn't an obvious place to put them. Unless there is then feel free to sign post me to it

It depends on the nature of those thoughts and feelings - they may be best suited for Random, the Haven, or one of the specialist forums. However, please bear in mind that this is a discussion forum, and not necessarily the best place for private monologues.

There are some free blogs around the net like blogger, you can link what you want to WP if you wanted a discussion about it.

right...there are threads like "rants", "raves" and "from you to me - letters unsent" in the haven subforum which many people use for their stories, alongside "what's on your mind right now?" and "Got Anything Random To Say" in RD where pretty much anything goes as as long as it doesn't breach any rules, of course.

feel free to open a thread there if you have a lot to say, but keep it limited - otherwise stick to existing ones.

the old version of this site from november 2014 back had it's own blog feature tied to the user profiles, but that was removed when the new site came along. it was rather barebones and not many people used it, but it's a shame they weren't (publicly) archived because some people did write very well thought-out and meaningful posts there.

there's services like blogger and wordpress that offer better flexibility for blogging/diaries than here, if you have your own you can link to it in your profile page.
