While I was only one year old, the year would have been a fun one for me, watching shows like Double Dare, $ale of the Century, oh, and see the Winnipeg Blue Bombers beat MY B.C. Lions for the Grey Cup that year, 22-21, seeing the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, and the Los Angeles Dodgers (my #2 baseball team) win the World Series that year thanks to Kirk Gibson's epic home run in his lone at bat for the series.

I started my Masters program in English.

The Olympic Games took place in Calgary (Winter) and Seoul (Summer). I remember how weird the scheduling was in my time zone, making it virtually impossible for me to watch any of the action in Seoul. The only things I really remembered were the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

My earliest memory was from this year. It was of me leaving one kindergarten to go to another, which I later learned was a special school. To me it seemed like any other kindergarten and I had a lot of fun. Apparently I only went there for one year, because I started normal primary school the following year.

I don't remember. I was pretty young then.

I was 13 years old and Beatles crazy. (History repeats itself every 25 years). I also watched the Winter Olympics in Calgary and the Summer Olympics in Soul, Korea. George Michael made it to the top of the music charts with his song, 'Faith'. I also started High School that year. My school went from Grade 8 to 12.

I arrived in LA the day after the Dodgers completed their upset win over the Oakland A's in the World Series. I was there for my cousin's wedding. Thier marriage is still going strong.

Rain Man came out. I should have made the connection between me and the character but this was my best era career wise.

And Leonard Nimoy who died two years today figured prominently in this hit New Wave record by Information Society (PURE ENERGY)
