That article is very hyperbolic and it is a shame that the author chose to use Asperger syndrome as an insult. I'm sure she would not have chosen Down syndrome to illustrate the point.

Asperger's is unspokenly but for real considered by many to be worse than Down's Syndrome or schizophrenia. I therefore feel as stigmatized as someone with Down's or schizo.
