See if they have any Specialisterne workshops near you. I took one a couple of years ago and it really helped me get a job.

I seen where Specialisterne has a facility in Nashville luckily just about an hour away.

But what would they help me get a job doing?? Also I'm currently undiagnosed due to not being able to afford and have no insurance

What type of work will you do in Specialisterne? It varies from city to city. It's highly lightly you'll be in IT. They put my team in software testing but once you have a permanent position it's possible to move to another position within the company they put you in.

I don't think you need to have a diagnosis but it might increase your chance of making it through the selection process. It's certainly worth a try. You have nothing to lose!

You are not alone, I feel the same way. The only advice I have is so start something on your own, for me, it´s selling online. I´m sick payed and do it on my "free" time. I think it´s too much focus on job hunting in the general population, it´s everything everyone talks about "what are you doing for living?". It´s sure tough out there for aspies and the only safe zone is at home, then let the home be the office.

That used to be true but not anymore it's incredibly unafforable now even longtime residents are being driven out

If people can't afford to live in the only place that offers work than there's no hope.

What should I do?? No one will hire me and I can't afford to get an official diagnosis so I can access to the services that'll help. I really think I'm s**t out of luck and that suicide might be my only option left

So you can't find a job? Fine. Working at a job is not the sole purpose of existence.

Your life has value outside of work. Even employed people think their life has value outside their work.

Like how am I supposed to support myself without income?? I'm not even capable of self employment and I have no resources

Living with parents till I move out (long story as to why I plan to move out)

I also am living with family, have no job, not held a proper paid job ever always worked volunteer or work placements, which ended up not helping me. I am currently being tossed around by agencies only interested in getting money from other companies for getting me into work. Whilst I am being supported for rent, food and internet, i occupy my time playing games to escape the real world which I have no chance of a future in. I also keep getting told it will get better, i'll eventually get a job (i don't care what it is) but it seems I will never hear back, and all I seem to get are the easy ones such as intense manual labour, zero hour / casual contracts that the hours are so unsociable or my fitness / mental health is so lacking I can't hold on to them.

Moving out could be difficult. In some cities the rent is so high even people with jobs have difficulty affording it (hint: renters are paying off someone else's mortgage).

As for buying a house, that's a very distant dream for both of us.

The system is designed to make money for those who have capital and to prevent us from getting any.
